Rialia the Bunny

*Outfit made of upcycled bicycle jerseys

Rialia grew up watching cycling on bunny TV and marveled at the exotic locales the pro peloton sped through. After studying management at Carrot University, Rialia found a job working for a professional team as a soigneur. She got to manage an entire team of riders, masseuses, chef and wrenches, plus she got to travel the world and watch cycling. But all of that traveling has made her sleepy, and now she wants a friend who is happy to enjoy some carrot juice and watch Phil Liggett announce stages on TV.

Miako the Giraffe

*Outfit made of upcycled bicycle jerseys

In one of the most challenging roles of anyone in the pro peloton, Miako works as a chef for some of the fastest riders in the world. Shopping for food and making huge meals to feed hungry, tired riders, he learned many years ago that when all else failed, he could just serve up Nutella, one of the world’s greatest foods. Miako knows that a small part of every yellow, polka dot, pink and green jersey was fueled by his potent recipes. He hopes to make a new friend who he can cook for…even if they are going to throw up on their own jersey.

Aye-aye

"In some parts of Madagascar, the aye-aye is regarded as a harbinger of evil and killed on sight (The Sakalava believe that the aye-aye enters houses during the night through thatched roofs and murders the sleeping human occupants. It supposedly uses its elongated finger to cut the aortic vein of its victims"
A very freaky animal, even when not stuffed, and one of my favourites. Note the strange long third finger (it looks like a twig) used for prising insects out of bark.

I grabbed my package from the front desk, thinking it was my Python book. I opened it up at work and found a Lolrus instead of a Python. So now he's hanging out on my desk. (I expect this will annoy some coworkers and amuse others.)

I like this one because here we have 3 people posing for 3 different pictures (and my camera too so I guess that makes 4). Kind of sums up the craziness of the place.

In Memoriam - Floppy Pig: 9/15/08 - 10/22/08

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Floppy Pig, who was found dead in his home early this morning. Cause of death has been determined to be mutt-induced trauma accompanied by massive loss of stuffing.

His beslobbered remains will be interred in a Glad 13-gallon kitchen bag, inside a Simple Human wastecan.

A favorite of man and dog alike, Floppy Pig is survived by Squeaky Slice of Cake, Rubber Bouncy Thing, Fuzzy Blue Bone, and a ratty Penn #2 tennis ball.

Duck or Chicken?

This guy has been sitting in the mall downstairs for the past few days, and everytime I walk by it makes me laugh. It's bigger in person than it looks. Everyone else walking by would stop and stare at it too.

So today, I decided to free him from the store for the low price of . I'm not sure what I'm going to do with him -- maybe give him to my niece and nephew or something. But anyways, he's pretty cool.

We can't seem to figure out if it's a duck or a chicken, so if you have an opinion, chime in.
